How does Hop know who to put under priority?

When you get a new message, Hop checks whether the email address was recently used by you. If you did, Hop assumes this is a person you know. We find this method almost obvious and very simple, and yet it is incredibly reliable. So for example, if you get an email that a colleague is sending, it will automatically go to ‘Priority’. But if you get an email from a Newsletter or someone you don’t know, we will hop it under ‘other’.
